What is BPM? BPM is about modelling organisations so that they can perform their business more efficiently and in a more compliant way. This is hugely important for any enterprise that needs to process large volumes of work, find ways to streamline their businesses or handle acquisitions in a more agile way. This includes modelling the enterprise (Enterprise Architecture), generating what if scenarios, down to implementing advanced workflows that support individual business processes.

What is PS?
Professional Services tailor the core product into customer solutions. Ps is of strategic importance to OpenText and Offshore is of strategic importance to PS. Typically our projects involve an onsite project manager and tech lead with an offshore team of at least 1 person. With BPM our typical project will take around 100 days. We tend to implement new functionality and leave the maintenance to other teams to deliver. We value technical skills as much as communication and personal accountability. Technically our BPM projects will include some front end development and integration work to lines of business applications – either through database or web services integrations. There are opportunities to travel with this role, though not guaranteed, right now we have 10-15% of our team onsite somewhere in the world.
